MISS’D AMERICA PAGEANT COMES
TO ATLANTIC CITY’S BOARDWALK HALL

PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR DEC. 15, 2009

Atlantic City, NJ – December 11, 2009; The 2010 Grey Goose Vodka Miss’d America Pageant is making its triumphant return to Atlantic City in Historic Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, January 31, 2010, after a five year absence.

The pageant, originally created as a fundraiser, is a spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant.  Trump Entertainment Resorts, Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., and the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance in association with the Schultz-Hill Foundation will present this year’s show.

WHAT: 2010 GREY GOOSE VODKA MISS’D AMERICA PAGEANT PRESS CONFERENCE

WHEN: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2009 – 2:00 PM

WHERE: MARIE MCCULLOUGH MUSICIANS BALCONY
BOARDWALK HALL - ATLANTIC CITY, NJ

WHO: Richard Helfant, President of the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance, will announce details of event.  Also attending will be: Representatives from sponsors Trump Entertainment Resorts and Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., Show Writer and Director, Robert "Sandy Beach" Hitchen and reigning Miss'd America 2005 winner, Andrea LaMour, a Senior Executive from the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority, and Atlantic City Councilman and pageant founder John Schultz.

The show is being written and directed by Robert "Sandy Beach" Hitchen as it has since its inception. The hilarious pageant will star Drag Queens strutting down the world's most famous runway. The title sponsor of this event is Grey Goose Vodka. Benefactors of this MUST SEE EVENT include: The Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance, The Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation, The William Way Center of Philadelphia, Broadway Cares-Equity Fights AIDS of New York City, and the South Jersey AIDS Alliance.
