The Education committee of the AC GLBT Alliance sponsored a community Health Fair on Wednesday, 9/14/11 on the deck of Scales Resturant in Gardners Basin, Atlantic City. View Photos from the Event

Members of the GLBT community had the opportunity to learn about health & related topics from multiple vendors including:

  • Dr. Gary Hymes, Podiatrist
  • Massage Therapy
  • South Jersey AIDS Alliance
  • Perferred Travel (Healthy Vacations)
  • Alzheimer's Association
  • Youngblood, Lafferty & Sampoli P.A.

It was truly informative and fun event. Members enjoyed getting their theraputic massage, paticipating in Zumba group excercise, and taking home giveaways & prizes. A big thank you to all vendors, Carmines/Scales (food and venue), Atlantic Expo,(exhibit set up), John Mackey,(Stilt walker) and members of the Education Committee for making the event a great success.
